How To Open A Wine Bottle Without A Corkscrew:
If you like boxed wine then your wine bottle will be with a cork or with a crew cap. Wine bottles which have whilst screw caps are easy to open. But some wineries use the cork preservation method and this one is a little difficult to open. Because the cork method can preserve wine for a lot more time than another method. Here I will tell you how to open a wine bottle without a corkscrew. These are methods are not 100 percent foolproof but they will help you to open a wine bottle.
These are the following steps.
Use a screw:
It is a safe method but it also requires some reliance and some strength so it can fatigue you easily. Take a long screw and screw it into the cork with help of a screwdriver. After this take the backside of the hammer and lock it under the crew then pull the cork out. Also, use a towel to wipe the sweat off the forehead once you are done with your mission.
This is also a safe method but it also has a downside. Take the handle of a wooden spoon to open the bottle and push the cork down to the bottle. But remember this is impossible to remove the cork from the bottle and if the bottle is old the cork may crumble and shed into the wine when you pushed in. So use a strainer to pour the wine through it into a decanter to remove cork peices.
This is an easy method but you will not be able to hang clothes on that hanger after this process. First thing is to bend the tip of the hanger about 30 degrees back. It will look like a fish hook if you will do it right. Alongside the cork slide the wire down into the bottle and rotate it to 90 degrees so that hook is underneath the cork. Then pull the wire up and the cork will release. Use a towel or gloves for protection.
Take a bike pump with the needle attached and just plunge it through the cork. Penetrate it all the way so that the needle reaches the air between the cork and the wine. When you start pumping the air into the bottle the cork will slowly move out of the bottle due to air pressure.
Just plunge your keys into the cork at 45 degrees and move it out in a circle. It means you are twisting the cork slowly. After a few rotations, the cork will come out.
It works in some cases use a lighter and apply heat to the neck of the bottle of wine just right below the cork. The heat will force the cork upward and it will be out eventually. But do not use this process to the cold wine because it could exploit due to rapid changes in temperature.
