Switch off the system:

It is important to switch off the system before draining. Then wait for the pipes to cool down completely. Also, cool down the radiator if you want to replace it.

Put out solid fuel fire:

If you operate your boiler with solid fuel. Then it is good for you to extinguish the fire and make the boiler coll completely.

Cut the water supply:

Cut the water supply before the drainage of the system. Then water will not inter in pipes while working. Make a separate stop tap for water. If it is difficult to turn off the water then simply stop the water flow by tying up the ball valve with wood on the top of the cistern. You want to drain the central heating system with a combi boiler, then switch it off and wait until it cools down.

Right radiator and drain off the valve:

If you want to find the right radiator it will locate somewhere on the first floor. Your drain valve will be located at the bottom of the radiator. Outlet the clip with the help of a garden hose and turn the water outside. You can use a flat-headed screwdriver to tighten the clip with it and use it for the same purpose. Inhibitors have chemicals so locate the hosepipe away from plants in your garden.

Bleeding your radiator:

Now open the bleed valve and then water will run freely through pipes. If you want to run water faster then start the radiator on top of the building. Now wait for 15 minutes and open the bleed valve on the radiator downstairs.

Open the valve and discharge the water:

Open all the radiator valves of your hose and check twice. Now open that radiator valve which is attached with a hosepipe and drain the central heating system down. It will take 20 minutes to one hour based on the type of system you have. Open all valves of radiators to speed up the process.

Refill the system:

Now refill the system by closing all valves you open previously. Also, open the drain cock of the radiator. Then water fills up the system by uniting the string in the feed tank. Now you fill all the tanks start bleeding the radiator downstairs. Repeat this upstairs with this your system should be filled.
