But some people feel it difficult to clean it. whenever you brought your bird. The initial steps are. Cleaning, skinning, and plucking.

So, here are some steps to clean a turkey.

How  To Clean A turkey

Cleaning of a turkey from the store:

If you take your turkey from the store. Then, allow it to thaw for 24 hours in a refrigerator. But if you want to do it quickly. put your turkey in a leaked-proof bag. Set it in sink or bucket with cold water. Allow 30 minutes to set it in cold water. you can also use the microwave to thaw it. use warm water and soap before for 20 seconds before you start handling the turkey.

After this roll up your sleeves. Pull back your long hair. So, now take off the packaging and place the turkey in a dish. place the turkey directly into a baking pan or cooking dish. Do not touch much surface of raw turkey. Do not touch with any food item. Now we will remove its neck. You will find its neck and giblets inside the body cavity. Carefully, put them out. Do not leave them inside the turkey.

So, now risen the turkey with water. Risen out the cavity of the turkey with cold water. Drain it holding over the sink. After this set down on a roasting pan. Do not scrub outside of turkey. Cleaning of turkey with water. Do not help to kill bacteria. It helps to spread bacteria in your kitchen. So, now after clean the turkey. Clean your hand with soap gently.

Cleaning of a wild turkey:

Now before cleaning. You have to do plucking. There are some steps of plucking.

Plucking the feather:

Plucking takes more time than skinning a wild turkey. But if you do it with a plan. Nothing is difficult. Plucking is a very messy process. Do it in a garage or outside. Take a sharp knife. Cut off the head and neck of the turkey. Also, remove the part of the wings starting the first joint. after It will be a drumstick-shaped section. Take some water in a pam. Boil it for 30 minutes. Dip the turkey in water for 30 minutes. Hold it with its feet and lift it up. Again dip it for a few seconds. It will make it easy to pluck the feather. place the turkey directly into a baking pan or cooking dish. Do not touch much surface of raw turkey. Do not touch with any food item. Now we will remove its neck. You will find its neck and giblets inside the body cavity. Carefully, put them out. Do not leave them inside the turkey.

Risen out with water. risen out its cavity. Clean gently it with cold water.
